| Koldo Pastor
Pamplona, Navarra 1947
Koldo Pastor is a composer of symphonic, chamber and choral music and is noted for his approachable, melodic style.
Besides his work as a composer, Koldo teaches harmony and ensemble and is Choirmaster of both the Choral and Chamber Societies of Pamplona.
Interested in the diffusion of 20th century music, he is one of the founding members of the group “Iruñako Taldea”. His interest in new composition techniques and the sociology of music led him to study with Agustín González Acilu and Ramón Barce respectively.
His composition catalogue covers a wide range from instrumental and orchestra music, pieces for piano, vocals to soundtracks for films/movies.
CM is in the process of publishing his Sonata for Flute and Piano and some of his choral music.
